Dragons are Back! ‘House of the Dragon’ Season 2 Takes Flight this June

While the exact release date is still under wraps, fans can expect more Targaryen drama based on George R.R. Back for the second season, you’ll see familiar favorites like Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, Rhys Ifans, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Harry Collett, Jefferson Hall, Matthew Needham and Phia Saban. Joining the cast are new additions Abubakar Salim as Alyn of Hull, Gayle Rankin as Alys Rivers, Freddie Fox as Ser Gwayne Hightower, and Simon Russell Beale as Ser Simon Strong, as reported by Variety.
The initial 10-episode season of ‘House of the Dragon’ aired from August 21 to October 23, 2022, receiving high ratings and prompting HBO to renew it for a second season just one week after its series premiere, as per Variety.
