Hey there! Exciting news for fans of “Jujutsu Kaisen”! The anime is getting ready for its highly anticipated third season after the intense wrap-up of the Shibuya Incident arc in Season 2, which aired from July to December 2023. This anime has really won the hearts of fans with its mix of supernatural elements, deep characters, and epic battles.
So, what can we expect from Season 3? Well, it’s been officially announced after Season 2 ended, which has got everyone buzzing with excitement. But, considering how big the story arc is, it might take a while before it hits our screens – probably similar to the gap between the first and second seasons. There’s no exact release date yet, but since the animation studio MAPPA is also working on the “Chainsaw Man” movie, we might have to wait until 2026 for Season 3.
As for the storyline, Season 3 will pick up after the Shibuya Incident, where the bad guys tried to seal away the powerful sorcerer Gojo Satoru but were stopped by Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro, among others. Sadly, it came with some heavy consequences, like the death of Nanami Kento and severe injuries to Nobara Kugisaki.
Season 3 will dive into the Culling Games arc from the manga, where sorcerers and other powerful beings compete in a dangerous tournament. But before that, we’ll touch on some other arcs briefly, like Itadori’s looming execution and the sorcerers’ plans for the upcoming games.
The first trailer for Season 3 has dropped, giving us a glimpse of what’s to come. It’s brief but exciting, showing off some key characters and promising top-notch animation and storytelling.

As for the cast, we’re expecting most of the main voice actors to return, like Junya Enoki as Yuji Itadori and Yuma Uchida as Megumi Fushiguro. But with the fate of some characters up in the air after the Shibuya Incident, we might only see them in flashbacks, if at all.
And good news for fans worldwide – you can catch all the action on Crunchyroll, just like the first two seasons and the “Jujutsu Kaisen 0” movie. So, get ready to dive back into the world of curses and sorcery!
