Motorola recently launched the Razr 50 Ultra, and now the company is set to release the vanilla Razr 50 in India on September 9. The smartphone is already listed on Amazon, and Motorola is expected to equip it with one of the brightest screens in its category.
Moto Razr 50 Specifications
The Moto Razr 50 is a modern take on the classic flip phone, featuring a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED display with HDR10+ support and a peak brightness of 3000 nits, ensuring excellent visibility even in bright light. It offers a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1080 x 2640 pixels for sharp and vibrant images. The cover display is expected to be 3.6 inches, using an AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1700 nits brightness, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.
The phone’s build may include a plastic front when unfolded, a glass front when folded, a silicone polymer back, and an aluminum frame with a stainless steel hinge. It could have an IPX8 water resistance rating, allowing it to survive in water up to 1.5 meters deep for 30 minutes. Weighing about 188.4 grams, it might measure 7.3 mm thick when unfolded.
Camera and Performance
The Razr 50 is expected to have a dual-camera setup, including a 50MP wide lens with OIS and a 13MP ultrawide lens. The 32MP front camera will likely support 4K video recording at 30fps. Powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 7300X chipset and running Android 14, it may offer storage options of 256GB with 8GB RAM or 512GB with 12GB RAM. A 4200 mAh battery is expected with 30W wired and 15W wireless charging.
Connectivity and Color Options
Connectivity features might include Wi-Fi 6e, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC. The Razr 50 could be available in Koala Grey, Beach Sand, and Spritz Orange color options.
