Blend is essentially a collaborative Reels experience. You can create a Blend with either one friend or a group chat, and once members accept the invitation, a unique feed is generated based on everyone’s viewing preferences. The content refreshes daily, giving the group new material to explore together.
To create a Blend, simply enter a direct message (DM) conversation—either one-on-one or in a group—and tap the new Blend icon at the top of the chat. Then, select “Invite.” Once a participant accepts, the Blend is activated. From there, any Reels reactions by members will trigger a notification, encouraging users to engage in conversation within the DM thread.
The intent is clear: Blend wants to make content viewing a communal, interactive experience—not just a solo indulge of short videos.
