Jr NTR’s upcoming film “Devara” has become one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Amidst eager anticipation from fans, it has been announced that the film’s release date has been moved up. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to social media on Thursday to reveal that “Devara” will now hit theatres on September 27, 2024, instead of its earlier scheduled date of October 10, 2024.
Directed by Koratala Siva, “Devara” is set against coastal landscapes and marks Janhvi Kapoor’s debut in South Indian cinema. This film also marks her first collaboration with Jr NTR. Saif Ali Khan will play a pivotal role alongside Ramya Krishna. There are speculations about actress Chaitra Rai joining the cast, although there has been no official confirmation yet.
Similar to “RRR,” another Telugu blockbuster, “Devara” promises high-octane action sequences that are expected to captivate audiences. With a substantial budget of Rs 140 crore allocated for VFX, the film is set to deliver a visually stunning experience.
“Devara” holds special significance as Jr NTR’s 30th film, where he reportedly portrays both a father and son on screen. Earlier this year, Jr NTR unveiled the first poster of the film, depicting him standing on a boat amidst the sea, exuding intensity in a black shirt and pants.
Speaking at the success event of “Tillu Square,” Jr NTR expressed confidence in “Devara,” stating, “Even if ‘Devara’ is delayed by a few days, I guarantee you that it will be a film that will make all of you proud. We are dedicated to delivering the best for our audience.”
