Amit Yoran, a prominent figure in the cybersecurity industry and CEO of Tenable, passed away on Friday after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 54 years old.
Tenable, a leading cybersecurity firm, announced Yoran’s passing in a heartfelt press release, highlighting his profound contributions to the company and the industry at large. Yoran joined Tenable as CEO in 2016, bringing with him a legacy of innovation and leadership from prior roles, including serving as president of RSA, founding NetWitness, and leading In-Q-Tel as CEO.
