Universal Studios Unveils A Quiet Place Attractions for Halloween Horror Nights 2024

Universal Studios announces A Quiet Place-themed attractions for Halloween Horror Nights 2024, coinciding with the release of the franchise’s prequel film, A Quiet Place: Day One. Guests at Universal’s Florida and California locations will step into the eerie post-apocalyptic world of A Quiet Place on November 3, 2024. John Krasinski, known for directing and starring in the A Quiet Place films, will bring the immersive experience to life at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood.
The attractions will transport guests to iconic locations from the films, such as the Abbott family’s shelter and the root cellar where Evelyn Abbott hides while giving birth. Emphasizing the silent storytelling of the franchise, the haunted houses will utilize unique sound design, special effects, and skilled scare actors to evoke the ominous sense of dread depicted in the movies.
American Sign Language (ASL), integral to the films, will be incorporated into the experience to enhance authenticity. Guests will navigate the attractions while being pursued by the deadly creatures, with any sound attracting their attention. The announcement precedes the release of A Quiet Place: Day One, which explores the origins of the creatures and their initial rampage through New York City, featuring a star-studded cast including Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff, Djimon Hounsou, and Denis O’Hare.
