On Thursday, Neeraj Chopra secured a silver medal in the men’s javelin throw with an impressive throw of 89.45m, the second-best of his career. He finished behind Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem, who set an Olympic record with a throw of 92.97m to win gold. India’s men’s hockey team also capped off their campaign with a 2-1 victory over Spain, earning the bronze medal and bringing India’s total medal count to five.
