Subramanian Swamy: India, Israel, US Should Form Alliance Against Violent Muslims

Veteran BJP leader Subramanian Swamy suggested on Tuesday that India, Israel, and the USA should form a military alliance to combat violent Muslims as an effective deterrent. Swamy expressed confidence that rational Muslims would support this alliance.
Swamy proposed this solution following brutal attacks on Jewish civilians. This statement comes amid efforts by Washington to prevent a full-scale war between Israel and Hezbollah after a recent attack on the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights that resulted in 12 deaths. Israel and the US have blamed Hezbollah, but the group denies involvement.
Swamy has often criticized the Narendra Modi government. On Monday, he claimed on social media that Chinese officials in Europe are spreading information that Modi did not inform G7 leaders about China’s aggression and territorial capture in India. Swamy has frequently voiced his concerns over the alleged Chinese incursion, questioning why the Modi government opposes him in court regarding China’s occupation of Ladakh. He suggested a possible deal between the Gandhis and China, and implied Modi might be involved.
Swamy also commented on the Russia-Ukraine crisis, accusing the Modi government of inconsistency in its communications with Putin and the QUAD, likening them to “Panchatantra Bats” – a reference to a story where bats refuse to take sides in a conflict, ultimately being ostracized for their selfishness.
Modi is scheduled to visit Ukraine in August after meeting with Putin in Moscow. Following a viral photo of Modi and Putin hugging, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy expressed disappointment, calling it a setback to peace efforts.
