The sizzle teaser of Kanguva offered a glimpse into Siva’s concept of time travel, showcasing an epic action saga starring Suriya as the lead. As reported by India Today, a colossal war scene involving Suriya and the antagonist Bobby Deol has been filmed on a grand scale.
The report cited a source stating, “Studio Green, along with director Siva and the entire team, has meticulously crafted every aspect of the war sequences to stay true to the theme and subject. The film boasts the largest war sequence, featuring Suriya Sivakumar, Bobby Deol, and over 10,000 participants.” It further mentioned, “From the action choreography, stunts, to the visualization of the entire war episodes, all aspects are being executed with international expertise to deliver cinematic magnificence.”
The teaser showcased Suriya and Bobby engaged in intense conflict, leading armies into battle. Amidst the chaos of warfare, including sword fights, airborne arrows, and javelins, the duo prepares for a face-off in single combat.
About Kanguva Kanguva is hailed as one of the most ambitious projects in Kollywood. Suriya recently shared a post revealing his dual role in the film. Kanguva marks Bobby’s debut in Tamil cinema, portraying the antagonist Udhiran. Disha Patani also makes her Tamil debut in the film. The fantasy action-thriller boasts a star-studded cast including Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, K. S. Ravikumar, and B. S. Avinash.
The movie, featuring cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy and music by Devi Sri Prasad, will be released in 10 languages in 2024. Kanguva is described as a “mighty valiant saga” and is produced by UV Creations and Studio Green. The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, and cinematography is by Vetri Palanisany.
Kanguva is anticipated to hit theaters in mid-2024 in 3D format, although an official announcement from the producers is pending.
