German Muslim Students Attempt to Enforce Sharia Law in School

An incident at a school in Neuss, near Düsseldorf, has sparked significant outrage in Germany. Four Muslim students pressured both their peers and teachers to adhere to strict Islamic rules. Fearing retaliation, many complied, with some students even converting to Islam.
The Muslim students reportedly tried to enforce Sharia law for over a year. They took time off to pray with other students, demanded a prayer room, insisted that girls and women avoid eye contact with boys and men, and arranged seating with boys at the front of classes and girls at the back.
In response, the police initiated an investigation into these extremist activities, and German State Security was involved. The interior minister of North Rhine-Westphalia urged parents, teachers, and youth workers to be more vigilant regarding Islamic radicalization among young people.
