Elon Musk’s $45 Million Monthly Donation to Support Donald Trump

According to The Wall Street Journal, Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and the richest man in the world, has committed to donating approximately $45 million a month to a new super PAC supporting former President Donald Trump. This decision comes shortly after Musk backed Trump’s 2024 campaign following an assassination attempt on Trump.
Sources familiar with the matter, quoted by The Wall Street Journal, report that Musk announced his full endorsement of President Trump and wished for his rapid recovery.
Musk’s donations will go to the America PAC, run by Palantir Technologies co-founder Joe Lonsdale and supported by bitcoin billionaires Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss. Each of the Winklevoss twins contributed $250,000, and Lonsdale donated $1 million, according to Reuters.
This move signifies a reversal of Musk’s earlier stance to remain impartial in the 2024 election.
