Elon Musk and Robert F Kennedy Jr. Call for Eliminating EVMs Amid Concerns of Election Rigging

SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk has joined Robert F Kennedy Jr. in advocating for the elimination of electronic voting machines (EVMs), citing concerns over vulnerabilities to hacking, whether by humans or artificial intelligence (AI). Kennedy, an independent US presidential candidate, highlighted recent voting irregularities in Puerto Rico’s primary elections as evidence supporting a return to paper ballots.
Kennedy emphasized the necessity of accurate vote counting and safeguarding elections from interference, particularly in jurisdictions lacking a paper trail. Following significant discrepancies in vote totals attributed to software issues with Dominion Voting Systems, Puerto Rico’s elections commission is reassessing its contract with the company.
The call to replace EVMs with paper ballots aims to ensure the integrity and security of electoral processes, reflecting growing concerns over technological vulnerabilities in elections.
