First Step Toward World War’: North Korea’s Involvement Intensifies

 


 

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy claimed that North Korea is preparing to send 10,000 troops to support Russia in the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. During a press conference in Brussels, he confirmed that North Korean soldiers are already present in Russian-occupied territories, although their exact numbers are unclear. Zelenskyy warned that North Korea’s involvement represents a “first step toward World War.” The ties between Moscow and Pyongyang have strengthened recently, with both nations signing a mutual defense pact and North Korea supplying ammunition to Russia.
