LinkedIn’s Game-Changing Move to Blend Puzzles with Professional Growth

Millions use LinkedIn, a platform owned by Microsoft, to search for job opportunities online. Now, the team behind this professional networking site is gearing up to introduce a touch of entertainment to its application. According to a report by TechCrunch, LinkedIn is considering blending elements of gaming with the job search process.
This innovative approach involves leveraging the popularity of puzzle games, similar to the viral sensation Wordle, which attracted millions of enthusiasts. LinkedIn is experimenting with three gaming initiatives named “Queens,” “Inference,” and “Crossclimb.” A representative from LinkedIn confirmed the development of these gaming features, though a release date has yet to be announced.
“We’re exploring the integration of puzzle-based games into the LinkedIn platform to inject some fun, foster deeper connections, and, we hope, ignite meaningful conversations,” the spokesperson shared with a news outlet. Other platforms, like Meta’s Facebook, already offer in-app games to engage their users. It remains to be seen when LinkedIn will roll out its gaming feature.
