Elon Musk’s X TV Beta Version Launched: Features, How to Use It

Elon Musk’s rebranded platform, X (formerly Twitter), has entered the TV market with the beta launch of its X TV app, now available for Android TV devices, including LG, Amazon Fire TV, and Google TV. While the app is expected to expand to more devices, Musk has not announced an official launch date. The rollout has been gradual, with Amazon Fire TV receiving the app in late July and LG following on August 29.

 What is X TV?

Contrary to expectations, X TV is not a social media service but an OTT streaming platform called “X-Stream Service TV,” offering live channels such as news, sports, movies, music, and weather without the need for set-top boxes.

Key Features of X TV

Replay TV : Store up to 72 hours of shows in the cloud.
Startover TV : Restart live shows from the beginning, even if you join late.
Free Cloud DVR : Record up to 100 hours of content at no extra cost.

How to Use X TV

To access X TV’s beta version, users need an X account. It’s currently available on Android smart TVs, and you can find it by searching for X TV in your device’s app store.
