Crunchyroll launches Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubs for Dragon Ball DAIMA in India, enhancing accessibility ahead of the U.S. English dub theatrical debut. Catch the latest adventures of Goku and friends in their quest through the Demon Realm.

In a significant step towards global accessibility, Crunchyroll has unveiled Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubs for Dragon Ball DAIMA, the latest chapter in the beloved Dragon Ball saga, which officially premiered on October 11. This move makes the iconic series more accessible to Indian audiences, with episodes available for streaming every Saturday starting November 9, further broadening anime’s reach in South Asia.
Dragon Ball DAIMA, directed by Yoshitaka Yashima and Aya Komaki, is a nod to the franchise’s original 1984 manga by Akira Toriyama. The storyline introduces Goku and friends who, mysteriously transformed into childlike versions of themselves, set out to explore a mysterious “Demon Realm” alongside a new character, the young Majin Glorio. Toriyama, the legendary mangaka, originally created this storyline on Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump pages, capturing imaginations worldwide. This release marks Dragon Ball’s 40th anniversary, with the series evolving into multiple adaptations that captivate audiences globally.

Dragon Ball DAIMA’s English Dub Hits Theaters

Alongside the Indian dubs, Crunchyroll has announced a cinematic event in the U.S., showcasing the first three episodes of Dragon Ball DAIMA’s English dub in select theaters from November 10 to 12. Fans attending these screenings will recognize familiar voices, including Stephanie Nadolny reprising her role as Goku and Aaron Dismuke lending his voice to the new character, Glorio.

Dragon Ball DAIMA airs weekly on Fuji TV in Japan and is now available on international streaming platforms, including Crunchyroll, Netflix, and Hulu. These partnerships further solidify the franchise’s standing as a global cultural phenomenon, bringing Toriyama’s characters into countless homes worldwide.

Unique Creative Team and Storyline

The series’ production boasts seasoned talents like Yuko Kakihara, who leads the series composition, and Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru, the animation character designer. Crunchyroll’s synopsis teases an adventure that begins with a shocking twist: Goku and company are shrunk due to a sinister plot. The unfolding mystery ties back to the elusive “Demon Realm,” a setting that promises to reveal new dangers and allies.
As Dragon Ball DAIMA continues to reach audiences globally, Crunchyroll’s commitment to multilingual dubs and theatrical releases underscores its mission to bridge cultures through anime. With Crunchyroll’s latest dubs, South Asian fans can now dive into Goku’s world like never before, setting a new standard for anime’s accessibility and appeal worldwide.
